The Government has announced a tax relief package which includes proposed changes to personal income tax and additional information about FamilyBoost.

More information on the proposed measures, including a calculator to estimate how much you could benefit from the changes can be found on the Treasury website - www.budget.govt.nz.

If the proposed FamilyBoost payment is enacted, it will take effect on 1 July 2024.

If the proposed personal income tax changes are enacted, they’ll take effect on 31 July 2024.

More information will be available on our website if the proposed measures become law. We expect this to be early June. We’ll keep you posted.
