Cringy personal post coming up.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all you incredible people who continue to support us & the mahi we do.

Being a small business at the moment is tough, being a small business that supports others in tough times is really tough.

It brings sleepless nights, it brings a tight jaw & a terrible amount of caffeine consumption.

But please know that, like on a post, that share of our page, that posting a review, that mentioning us in conversations - it truly keeps me going at the moment.

“What makes working with you different?”
And honestly?
It is not one thing.

It is the experience.
The relationships.
The way we explain things.
The questions we ask.
The things we know to look for.
And the fact that we are not here to pretend we know everything just to sound impressive.

Between us, we have over 40 years of lending experience and long-standing relationships across the industry.

That matters.

Getting bank approval is super exciting, but how the lending is structured can be the difference between setting yourself up for financial success and stress.

The right structure can impact your repayments, your flexibility, your ability to make changes later, and how well your lending actually fits your life.

A quick yes might feel good in the moment.

But if the loan is not structured properly, it can create a huge amount of stress later.

That’s why good advice is not just about getting approved.

Nine years in business team🩷

Every year, I like to sit down and write out what business has taught me, because honestly, every year teaches you something different.

Some lessons come wrapped up in big wins.

Some come from the messy bits, the hard calls, the moments where you question everything, and the times you have to back yourself even when it feels uncomfortable.

But nine years in, I can honestly say this business has grown me just as much as I have grown it.

It has taught me about people, cashflow, boundaries, bravery, gut instinct, vulnerability, resilience, and the importance of knowing who your people are.

And maybe the biggest lesson of all?

You are not meant to be for everyone. But when you find the people who get it, value it, trust it, and cheer you on, those people are absolute gold.

Nine years of learning, building, backing ourselves, and being lucky enough to help incredible people along the way.

If you are in business & it feels bloody hard right now, I hope one of these lessons lands exactly where you need it & serve as a little reminder that you’re not alone, you’re still learning, and you’re probably doing better than you think.

Well team, it was a month ago I committed to rollerblading a whole marathon in the 30 days of May.

While the weather was good, the vibes were high & it was easy to do a few laps around the Kerikeri Netball Centre on the way home after work.

As life, lifed - and the trips to Auckland didn’t stop, it would have been easy to give up. But - you all kept donating, each day I woke up thinking I don’t have time today, or I should just squeeze in an extra hour of work, one of you would donate.

So the blades went back on & she did the laps again!

Thank you, to for not thinking it was weird when I showed up blades in hand, to for the tickets to support me getting some laps done inside, to all of you who donated to support the & for all of your kind words & encouragement in supporting me as part of the team ❤️🙌

While the blading might not be daily - the blades will stay in the back of the car, just incase 🤞😍
