After 6.5 years of being a self employed contractor to AMP South -I’ve decided it’s time for a change. Lots of things are changing in the financial world & with AMP South launching as a new brand the time was right to leave, so I have taken an opportunity to go back to recruitment which is something I have done in the UK & got involved in anytime AMP South recruited too! I have had a great time & made some very special bonds with many of my clients over the years. I wish you all well & hope that we will cross paths again one day. ... I am sorry that I didn’t say sooner but AMP South wanted to announce me leaving at the same time as they announced their new brand Total life. Not sure if you guys have seen but Kiwibank have a frame that you can use for your profile picture & For every Kiwi who adds this frame to their profile photo Kiwi bank will donate $1 to Mike King's fund. The fund will offer young Kiwis free counselling.

Came back to the office this afternoon after a road trip to Lumsden to deal with a clients claim to find this on my desk.

Another client that I had helped with a major insurance claim a month or so ago had left it with a card that made my heart melt & eyes water.

Insurance isn’t the most exciting thing in the world but when you see the real difference it can make to peoples lives when it really counts it makes me really glad that I do what I do!

When your life has thrown you a curve ball the last thing you want to do is deal with a 0800 number or worse an email - you want to know that you have someone thats in your corner to do all they can to make the process as easy as possible - am I in your corner?
