Great news for first home buyers!

First home loan price caps to be removed June 1st, and first home grant house price caps increased to $875,000 as of right now.

This means as a first home buyer purchasing a new or existing home for up to $875,000 you could still qualify for the first home grant to help you with your deposit.

The End Is Near!

The time of historically low interest rates may soon be coming to an end. It's crystal ball stuff really but two banks have already made it a reality with an increase in their fixed rates this week of 0.30% - 0.36% and economists are predicting the other banks to follow in the near future, leading up to the end of the year.

That makes NOW a great time to have a look at what you're currently paying and consider refixing if:

- you're rate expiry date is coming up soon or even in a few months time.

- If your still on a high rate compared to what's available now (before they go up!).

- you don't want to wait for your fixed rate expiry and miss out on lower rates.

Waiting a few months could cost you so it's certainly worth a look.
