Meet Emma Wright.

A farmer’s daughter from Taihape, Emma brings more than 14 years’ experience across agribusiness, the wholesale seed industry and, more recently, rural banking as an Agribusiness Manager.

Now part of the Oxbury team, Emma brings plenty of experience and a practical approach to rural finance. Working largely behind the scenes, she supports our sales team and understands that every farming business and opportunity is different.

Based in Hawke’s Bay, with a network across New Zealand, Emma will help support Oxbury’s focus on backing farming businesses throughout the country.

Outside of work, Emma is kept busy keeping up with her two little girls and all their activities.

A great few days at the Figured Agri Leaders Summit, bringing together accountants working closely with the farming sector from across New Zealand and Australia.

Hosted by agritech platform Figured, the event welcomed around 130 accountants servicing the agri industry across New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

Oxbury co-founder Nick Evans, visiting from the UK, shared the Oxbury Bank Plc story so far and spoke about the importance of finance that truly understands modern farming businesses and their future.

In the UK, Oxbury is now writing one in five new farm loans, a model the team is now working to bring to the New Zealand market.
