OCR Announcement this Wednesday 8th October 2025

The Reserve Bank announces the Official Cash Rate (OCR) this Wednesday at 2 pm – and economists are split. Some are picking a 25-point cut, while others are leaning towards a 50-point drop to help stimulate the economy.

With inflation easing, the Reserve Bank may move faster than expected – but nothing’s certain until the announcement.
