Hi,
My name is Nicole Vitasovich, the director of Elite Advisors Limited.
I bought my first investment property at age 18 jointly with my brother (also 18). We sold that property 8 years later to purchase my first owner occupied property at a mortgagee sale with my partner (now husband).
Soon after we purchased another investment property which we made some minor improvements too and sold.
Then sold owner occupied property which we had also done renovations to, in order to purchase a lifestyle property where we are raising our two daughters and also allows us to raise some beef cattle and chickens in order to reduce the cost of meat and eggs.
We’ve since done several improvements to our home, and also done a couple of spec builds one in Whangamata and another in Te Kauwhata.
My husband is a self-employed builder which helps, but with both of us being self employed it means I need to know my way round the banks when we want to borrow money.
While I am now a director and a mortgage adviser with Boost Brokers, prior to that I had 15 years banking experience with most of that time being in Business and Commercial banking, assisting self-employed clients with their lending needs.
