A forklift licence was where it all started for Kere Paerata (Te Koopua Marae).

Today, he's part of the team who operates Ruakura Inland Port at Ruakura Superhub.

We're excited to announce that Kara (Te Atiawa, Ngāi Tūhoe) will join TGH as General Manager Transformation, a newly established executive role that will help lead strategic growth, innovation, and transformation across Tainui Group Holdings.

We look forward to the contribution he will make as we continue our journey to deliver our strategy Te Ara Whakamua and grow prosperity for Waikato-Tainui and future generations.

Paul Columbus joined our whaanau 15 years ago when he was appointed to manage the brand new Novotel Auckland Airport hotel.

He went on to open and establish Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport hotel, the magnificent 5* hotel at the gateway to Aotearoa.

Thank you Paul for your care and stewardship of these two important tribal assets.

We appreciate you and all you have done for our iwi.
