3 years ago, a vertebra fracture and concussion led to a pretty difficult time for me and my family.

However, at no point did we have any financial stress. This meant I could focus on my recovery without the pressure of returning to work full time.

⚠️Support a local arborist to compete at the Asia Pacific Tree Climbing Competition⚠️

Our very own Samantha Fraser has been selected to compete in Singapore this April and we are supporting her to raise funds for her trip.

Sam started with the ATS in 2019 after she moved back to Gisborne to be closer to family. Not soon after starting her apprenticeship, she attended her first tree climbing comp in Napier and with a competitive nature, she has been hooked ever since.

In collaboration with local businesses, a raffle has been organised to raise funds for her trip. With over $1200 worth of prizes.

1st Prize - MS170 Petrol Chainsaw, Adult helmet set, Battery-powered kids toy chainsaw, and toy helmet. Kindly donated by STIHL SHOP Gisborne

2nd Prize - A cubic metre of Manuka Firewood, delivered and stacked (within city limits). Kindly donated by Out East Insurance Solutions

3rd Prize - A Gardening kit and sweet treats. Kindly donated by Ask Alice

4th Prize - 1 hour full body massage voucher. Kindly donated by Bounce Back Health & Wellness

5th Prize - A Mahi Poraka (Hoodie) Long Sleeves. Kindly donated by Kaiwhakangau

She would also like to give a huge thank you to McFall fuels, Rothbury Insurance and Fraser Avocados for their generous sponsorship.

Tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased with cash from Stihl Shop, 51 Carnarvon Street.
