This year has been wild… but also so amazing ✨

I moved into a new space, opened a second business next door with Reloved By You — where my daughter now works — and I also do the behind-the-scenes work for my husband’s company B&R Transport

Circle of Life is my passion, my number one, and something I’ve spent years working towards and working in.

Now I have a new space, the same beautiful view, and once again I’m doing my best to avoid the typical office light-box setup.
Instead… think homestyle seating, views for miles, peace, quiet, and a relaxing atmosphere.
And the best part? This window is mirror tinted, so we can see out, but no one can see in 👌

Another door closed ❤️
Spent the morning slowly moving & tidying this place, ready for the new tenants on Monday.
1 year ago i stepped into this office, my first space I leased for my business & man I was proud.
I put my touch on it, painted, decorated (which was so good the new tenents wanted to keep the table set up 🙌) & had the most amazing 12 months, through all the seasons & a view that never got old.

Today I shut the door but I'm onto bigger & better things...
FYI...I've moved next door 😆 but with a whole new space to fit out, decorate & space for an additional business I have been working in on the side for a while now- what turned into a hobbie will now be its own shop!

I had the extra space seperate to my new office so I thought why not utilise the second part & open a second hand clothing & goods store.
Im excited for whats to come, to see the impact both my business's will make & a way to meet & speak to everyone. Whether it be you visit to find an item of clothing or to sort your personal insurance..it can all happen here.

Please follow Reloved By You where the updates will begin to roll in as we get closer an opening date.

CIRCLE OF LIFE IS ON THE MOVE!!

But we're not going far..just next door!.
WHY?
We wanted more space to look to expand Circle of Life in the near future but also (super excited & proud to say) that we will be opening Reloved By You

These 2 businesses will be in the same building but in very seperate spaces.
Bailey my amazing girl will be the face you will see in this area for the most part as I will continue to run Circle of Life fulltime ( nothing changes here).

Securing the space in Days Bay where The Cove once was has given us the chance to keep supporting our community in one way, while creating something new in another — a place to connect, browse, chat, and feel good about shopping sustainably.

Also life admin sorted...come treat yourself then pop into the next space & have your insurance review - thank me later 😉

We've been having some R&R thanks to AIA NZ
4 days of laughter & adventure but also a moment to stop, take in everything around us that we tend to glance past - the peace, the quiet, the fresh air.

As advisers it's a rare occurance that we stop. I say this at 6am on the last day of our retreat with the laptop on my knee. We love what we do & we love the people but it's recognized we need to stop or our bodies will force us, unexpectedly.

Refreshed & ready to go again, Im taking so many memories home- this view is on Punakaiki beach lastnight - it sure does take your breath away 🤍

I watched a movie last night— you might’ve seen it too, it’s all over social media. The most heartbreaking movie I think I've ever seen.

There was one line that in this movie that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since:

-“People don’t understand how expensive it is to be poor.”-

At first, you think money — or the lack of it, whilst this has some truth, that’s not where my mind went.
Being “poor” can mean no time, no support, no options.
Everything in life comes at a cost — and it’s not always financial.

Until you’re in that position, you can’t truly understand how expensive it is:
-To lose your home because you can no longer afford it
-To not have access to treatment that could save your life
-To be too time-poor or isolated to care for your family properly

Lets not forget on the mental toll it will also have.

In the film, this woman worked two jobs, was a single mum, struggling to make ends meet. She was financially poor, time poor, and family poor — with no village, no support system.

It made me reflect on insurance — and just how much we rely on our health and our ability to work to fund our lives, care for our children, and pay for our homes. Without a safety net, everything is at risk. Everything!

Here’s the truth:
If you rely on your ability to work to pay the mortgage, raise your kids, and keep life going — then you can’t afford not to have protection in place.

When life flips upside down, it’s too late to get cover. The bills keep coming, the pressure piles up, and options disappear.

Insurance gives you options. It gives you time. It gives you a chance. Because we just don't know, without protection in place, you run the risk of a day where you might understand how expensive it truly is to be poor.

BETTER TOGETHER 🙌

To run any business its takes a village.
We all know someone who can help someone & this speaks volumes in business. Our villages are made up of many people but a big part are followers, clients, associates & day 1 supporters.

Yes I do Insurances but I don't do all insurance & that is where I need to call on someone I know.
So taking time out & catching up with guys from TIME Insurance is a must!
Drinking coffee, having a laugh, catch each other up in whats new & what's to come.

So for all our clients needing general insurance, liability covers, classic car coverage or pretty much all the insurance I don't do....i know someone 😉

M A K E I T M A K E S E N S E 🕊

I've never truly understood how people are so quick to insure their cars, their contents & even their trailers--but hesitate when it comes to protecting their health, their income or their life.

When we buy a car, there's no second thought-- we automatically take out insurance.
"What if we crash? What if it gets stolen"

G E T T O K N O W M E 🙋‍♀️

My part in helping you to protect you & your family requires many questions about all parts of your life,so it's only right that you know who it is you're speaking with- Lets go!

1. I've been with my amazing husband since we were 17years old, I'm now 35 & we've been married for 8 years this year

2. I have 2 pretty awesome kiddies (16 & 10) even the teenager is still nice to me 😆

3. I've been in Finance & Insurance for over 12 years. Went out on my own specializing in personal Insurance almost 4 years ago

4. I have a pretty great sense of humour, bit wild at times but I love to laugh!

5. I'm an active relaxer 99% of the time, cleaning, working on my business or gettting creative is my way of relaxing.

6. I can't sleep in, don't ask me why, doesn’t matter what I do, I'm wired to be up no later than 6am on a weekend & 5am on a weekday!

7. Circle of Life Insurance Solutions name actually randomly came about after watching the Lion King 🦁
Represents everything I'm passionate about- families & protecting our circle & life from what we don't see coming.
"It means no worries, for the rest of your days" -was just so fitting ❤️

8. Our family is a lover of old school V8 Fords, we have had many over the years with a couple of goodies we've held onto. We head out to car events & track days/comps which = driving like we stole it 😆

9. I hate talking about/promoting myself, so my social media pages & self promotion part of my business in any way doesn't come easy or naturally to me. But I'm learning to get over that.

10. Lastly, I understand life! I'm a mum, a wife, a fulltime worker, I run a home, kids school needs, have a mortgage, all of it. I know the demands life throws at us. Which is why I'm so passionate about what I do for a living, without my health or ability to work, my family is hugely affected. My husand always says ,what would we do without you & honestly, the thought of that stops me in my tracks because he'd be completely lost in everyway. He knows this.
I'm friendly, caring, trustworthy & honest.

So there we have it - 10 facts you didnt ask for but got anyway 👏
