Is your mortgage coming up for refix? Don’t just choose a rate and move on.

With NZ mortgage rates starting to move again, the rate you choose is important, but it’s not the only thing worth looking at.

Could your loan structure work better?
Would splitting your fixed terms make sense?
Are your repayments still comfortable?
Have your plans changed since you last reviewed your mortgage?

The OCR has moved. So what does that actually mean for your mortgage?
The Reserve Bank has increased the Official Cash Rate to 2.75%, and mortgage rates have already started responding.
