Who has heard of AIA Vitality?
You may have seen it advertised by Valerie Adams? Well, I can tell you that it works!
I joined up 6 weeks ago and it is getting me up, off the couch and out the door to exercise.
I have been trying to get the motivation to exercise regularly, I have tried boot camps, exercising with friends and joining the gym which works for a bit, but then I come up with excuses to stop…
What is different with AIA Vitality is that you can sign up for different active rewards for doing exercise - benefits such as Airpoints, movie tickets or other great rewards… or the Apple Watch benefit which is the one I went for.
The reason this works for me is that if I don’t reach my weekly target then it costs me money! When you select for the Apple Watch benefit you are sent an awesome new Series 8 Apple Watch and you sign up for a payment plan of $30 per month. If you reach your weekly target AIA will pay $5 towards your payment. If you reach your target every week for the month then they will pay the full $30. I don’t want to pay $1 towards my watch so I am out there getting my points!
So far it has got me out of the house walking rain, hail, snow or shine. 6 weeks in I am already feeling so much better and my dog is loving it!!
If you want to have a chat about how to join up to AIA Vitality then I can put you in touch with one of our fabulous advisers at Insurance Link Otago - Dan Murphy or Bryn Wesson.
