Spent some time with a new customer on Friday showing her how to send the emails requesting payment. She was a bit relucant but after chasing their customer for four months she was ready to try anything!
I got this email on Friday night!

WOW!

At lunchtime I had a text from ###x saying he’d put $9200 in our account and there it was! Said he’d “received a payment today” and would pay more as soon as he could.

My brother, small builder, called in and I’m passing on your details as he has a client giving him the runaround.

I’m impressed!! Thank you!

Frequently the traditional methods of debt recovery are too expense for the value of the job that was done. Well, no more writing off the debts or letting that customer go unpenalised. If you did the job and there is no dispute, then you deserve to get paid – I am sure that you agree with that statement. But as Kiwis we find it difficult to ask for the money –with DEBTORINFO no more of those awkward conversations! If your customer doesn’t pay, then we will STOP his CREDIT and list the debt with Centrix and Equifax. This will make it very awkward for them when they try to change; cell phone, internet providers or power companies; obtain Hire Purchase or extend credit card limits or borrow money from the banks.

How do I become a Secured Creditor? And what does that mean?
To become a Secured Creidtor you must have permission from the company that you can register a PPSR - Personal Property Security
Register. When you have Terms of Trade and your customer signs them - they have now given you permission!
