When I'm working with a couple on their insurances, I'm often asked... Why is she more expensive than me? Why is my occupation seen as risky? How do they actually figure all of this out? Must be a computer? Maybe they just throw a dart? No, it's actualy an actuary... An actuary is someone who lives and breathes algebra and works out all the odds. They'd be handy on a racecourse right?
