This question comes up a lot.
I was just speaking to someone in the weekend who said "Back when we bought our house we had no idea if we would be better off with a Mortgage Adviser or a Mortgage Broker".
So, what is the answer? Which is better?
Neither.
A Mortgage Adviser and a Mortgage Broker are exactly the same. It is differing terminology for the same role. Whether someone markets themselves as an adviser or a broker, they are providing the exact same service.
So don't get caught up on the job title. Go with whoever feels right for you.

Four to five months can sound like plenty of time, but it disappears pretty quickly once the process begins. Between preparing and submitting an application, confirming your budget, searching for the right property, going unconditional and then settling, May or June will come faster than you expect.
