A bigger home, a new chapter, and a smile that said it all!

A massive congratulations to Ben and Monique, who have settled into their beautiful new home!

Their first home had been a great starting point, but this move was about finding more space and a home better suited to their family. And what an awesome upgrade they’ve made.

Getting there wasn’t easy. They needed to sell their existing home to make the move happen, and at one point, they thought their buyer’s offer had fallen through. Thankfully, the buyer just needed a little more time, and their sale eventually went unconditional. Everything they’d been working towards could finally happen.

When we dropped off their housewarming gifts, it was so lovely to see how happy they were. I can still remember the massive smile on Monique’s face as she showed us their new home. After all the uncertainty, they were finally there, and absolutely over the moon.
Ben was also very kind in sharing how much they appreciated the support and communication throughout the journey, both from us and from their insurance adviser, James Fluit at Alexis & Co. Hearing that means a lot, especially knowing how much this move meant to their family.

Congratulations, Ben and Monique. I’m so glad we got to be part of helping you take this next step. I hope you make some wonderful family memories in your new home! 🎉

Seven months of hard work, and a first home to call their own!

A massive congratulations to Hazel and Leonard, who have settled into their beautiful new home in Rolleston!

I’ve known Hazel for a while, having worked with her in the past. Back in February, she came to me because she and Leonard had recently moved up from Ashburton and wanted to explore whether buying a home was possible.

I already knew Hazel was determined, but seeing how she and Leonard approached their deposit was something else. They were close to what they needed and saving at a rate of knots.
Eight months later, all that hard work has paid off. They’ve settled into a place of their own, just as their family of three gets ready to become a family of four.

On settlement day, I let Hazel know the bank had released the money. Her response has stuck with me:
“Thank you :) this is so exciting and it feels like I’m dreaming, and am afraid to wake up from this dream.”

Hazel also shared that she’s the first in her family to own a home. I’m so proud of both her and Leonard for what they’ve achieved, and so glad I got to be a small part of helping them get there.
