We hope everyone had a great break over Easter and is feeling ready to attack the rest of their week.

You may have heard the saying “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” once or twice before. Besides being the perfect metaphor for diversification to whip out around Easter what does it actually mean?

Diversification means spreading your investments across different assets and asset classes. This reduces risk as a loss in one area doesn’t significantly impact your overall portfolio.
