RE: HOUSE PRICES
Hi, Its been awhile since I last posted so I thought I would share something of interest to those looking at wanting to buy their first house or for those fortunate to be looking to buy another property for rental investment.
I attended our weekly group meeting with other financial advisers to be brought up to speed with what is happening in the bank/mortgage space and the property market.
They are expecting at the next OCR (Official Cash Rate) announcement on 20 August 2025 that interest rates will again drop, which is on par with what they shared at the beginning of the year that interest rates would continue to fall until November 2025.
What was also shared today is that we will see property prices increase quite easily, up to 35% to 40% in the next 3 -4 years!!.
That is in line with the common statement, house prices double every 7-10 years.

This morning I attended our lending seminar and thought I would share a message we received which will be of interest to those entering the property market, especially with the Reserve Bank reducing the OCR by 0.25 basis points with banks quick to react by reducing their interest rates for home loans.

"What comes down - Interest Rates
Something goes up" - Property Prices

So, if you're thinking about buying a house, now is the time to do something about it, before prices start rising!!!!
