The Auckland Unitary Plan was made partly operative in November 2016. This means that most provisions in the plan are now operative and can be relied on to manage development. There are a small number of appeals still outstanding. Those parts of the plan that have been appealed are not yet operative.

The recommendations of the Auckland Unitary Plan Hearing Panel will be made public tomorrow (27 July 2016). Call me to find out how this affects your property.

The unitary plan hearings are now well underway.

The submissions on the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan have now closed. The submissions that have been received will be summarised in May and an opportunity to make further submissions will be available.
