Should you wait until after the election to buy?
Ryan's answer is no. Elections don't drive the property market. Employment, economic growth, confidence and immigration do.
An election comes round every three years. A property strategy plays out over decades. Timing a long-term decision around a short-term event means waiting on something that doesn't decide your outcome.
If everyone is waiting for the same moment, it's worth asking what that moment will actually change.
