It’s been one of those rollercoaster years for many businesses and households, so it's time to unwind and enjoy some relaxation this summer break. Heck knows, we all deserve it!

As expected, there's been no change to the OCR today

The Monetary Policy Committee today agreed to leave the Official Cash Rate (OCR) at 5.50%.

The PFG team would like to thank you for your ongoing support over 2022 & wish you & your family a very Merry Christmas!.

It’s been another busy year & as of now we're taking a break until Monday 16th January!

In 2023 we'll get back into producing quarterly newsletters and also “Just ask Neil” webinars. Clients have told us they benefited from them and enjoyed the online community we created a while back. Personally, we love the idea, as it opens up networking opportunities amongst our client base and that’s something we want to foster throughout 2023, in addition to providing you with timely, informed advice during these often uncertain times.

“Hold on tight” is the overriding message through 2023. As we all know, smart home buyers/investors have their investment strategies lined up and ready to pounce as a market flattens. My advice is, always leave something in for the next guy but also factor in potential downside if you’re looking to buy during these times. “Get in touch with your reality” is another theme Neil will be promoting to help people adjust and make sound financial plans for their future using real, down to earth advice, as always.

P.S. A proud moment in our history… after considerable work, PFG was awarded our permanent License this week by the Financial Markets Authority - some 3 months ahead of final date! This means we’re already operating in line with the intensified standards of the regulatory regime that kick in next March and you can have even greater confidence in our ability to serve you well!
