We are recruiting for a part time customer service representative. We are ideally looking for a university student.
This is a great opportunity for an accounting/commerce university student to get experience in a modern/new age boutique Ponsonby accounting firm. We are accountants, but not your typical bean counters! Reporting to the director, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to existing and new customers, bookkeeping, carrying out administration support and more. This role requires someone who is able to manage priorities, adapt, multi-task and who works well under pressure.
What will you be doing?
Creating a welcoming and friendly environment for customers, predominantly via phone and email
On-boarding of new clients
Sending of documents to clients for online signature
Ensuring documentation and record keeping is correct
Scanning and filing
Arranging meetings and the director’s calendar
Providing assistance for customer queries
Bookkeeping for clients
What experience/skills do you need?
An ability to work in a fast paced environment
Someone confident and competent with professional communication, both written and verbal
A good understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word most importantly) and Google suite products
Excellent verbal communication skills, actively listens, draws out information and follows through
Excellent telephone manner
High work standards, pays attention to detail and initiates self-checking procedures, ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency
Ability to prioritise, plan and set objectives and goals and use time effectively
Credibility and professional integrity
