It was an honour to create this album in memory of Carolyn Bassett's beloved Razz. Seeing her response as she turned the pages for the first time was a moment that spoke to just how much love and memory can be held in a story.

Your cat doesn’t follow you like a shadow, not always. But they’re there. On the windowsill in the afternoon light. Waiting by the cupboard where you keep their biscuits. Tucked into the warm pile of clothes you meant to fold.

They appear when you sit still for long enough. Settle beside your child during homework, stretch out across the papers you left out, curl into the softest part of the couch as if it’s always been theirs. They have their own rhythm, but it’s threaded through yours now.

You might not take as many photos of them as you mean to. They’re just always there, part of your day, part of the family.
