The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Wall Street's clearinghouse, reported plans to connect its tokenized securities platform to the Stellar (XLM) network, moving traditional financial (TradFi) assets onto blockchain rails.

Tokenized assets custodied by DTCC's Depository Trust Company could become available on Stellar during the first half of 2027, DTCC and the Stellar Development Foundation said in a recent press release.

The firms said the integration would support issuance, settlement and lifecycle management of blockchain-based versions of traditional securities.

Chiliz, who are building the Web3 infrastructure for Sports and Entertainment, is looking to gain traction in South Korea following a new integration with Naver Pay, a payment gateway.

On Thursday, Chiliz announced that Naver is bringing its reported 33 million daily active users on-chain via Chiliz Chain, a move aimed at supercharging growth in the SportFi ecosystem.

More than 900,000 Naver Pay Wallets have already been created on the Chiliz Chain, enabling users to access fan tokens, digital collectibles, and blockchain-based sports rewards.

Chiliz’s also announced on X that a Fan Token-backed team is assured a UCL final spot.

Notably, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have all advanced to the semifinals.
