AIA NZ's 2024 Claims Demographics Report reflects our commitment to supporting Kiwis in their time of need. This year, AIA paid out over $829.6M, with a 92% claim acceptance rate, providing peace of mind to more than 797,000 New Zealanders through life, health, trauma, income protection, and total permanent disablement cover. Notably, $298.1M was paid for life claims and $167M for health claims, with cancer, heart conditions, and musculoskeletal issues among the leading reasons for claims.
