Sally Reid is one of our amazing volunteers who helps roster collectors for our Daffodil Day appeal each year.

Sally got involved in volunteering for the Cancer Society after losing both her parents to cancer.

Sally’s advice to people thinking about volunteering is “Just Do It - you don’t have to wait until you’re retired!”

“Sometimes we have it in our heads that we have to wait until we’re retired to start volunteering, but I’ve found that there is no expectation from the Cancer Society and it is a case of just doing what you can,” she says.

There have been a lot of changes in the Kiwisaver space - if you would like to talk to someone about yours so that you know it is working for you please get in touch with me.

Changes for default KiwiSaver funds coming into force on 1 December include a trimmed list of providers and default funds changing from conservative to balanced.
