Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited - SLBSL It started formal microfinance institution from 2014-07-14. Thus, as an initiative of WDCN and with the help from various promoters, SLBSL was established.

One of the Micro finance Institutions registered under the company Act, 2003 on 2013-07-12 as public limited Company having Registration number 114029/069/070 in Company Registrar Office, Kathmandu, Nepal and licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Before we were established we were as NGO(Women Development Center of Nepal-WDCN), which carried out earlier its own microfinace activities in 6

districts including Kavrepalanchowk district. As we are one of the financial service providers in Nepal, we simply provide small loans to the people of remote areas for their income generating businesses. As a financial institution, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited(SLBSL), we promise to serve in very remote and unreached areas of various districts of Nepal. The company had been established having a spirit to spread of micro credit services to the unreached and backward people to uplift them towards their business promotion and a good/regular income earning activities like buffalo keeping, goat keeping, aggro based business, vegetable farming, pig farming, small shops, trades, hotels, wholesale business, microenterprises and many more. The services have reached in 10 districts (Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Ramechhap, Okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu, Khotang, Bhojpur, Sankhuwasabha and Nuwakot districts) at present. Soon we are planning to extend the program in 5 more districts. And in recent future, SLBSL is extending as national level micro finance institution.
