Khokana is a traditional Newari village about eight kilometers south of Kathmandu on the outskirts of Patan. It has its own history and had retained its tradition and culture. It was a living museum recalling medieval times.

The aftermath of the earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25th 2015 (12th Baishak 2072) turned this village into rubles. Citizens Bank has always put itself forward in giving back to the society and in wake of this massive scale tragedy in the country, we have started our initiative by donating various equipment to the people of Khokana so that they can clear their homes and retrieve their valuables. We hope that our small help will be effective to the people of Khokana.
