From today, NEPSE will use a new method to decide the closing price of stocks. Instead of taking the last traded price (LTP), it will now calculate the closing price based on the average price of trades made in the last 15 minutes of the trading day (from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM), giving more importance to prices where more shares were traded. This method helps make stock prices more stable and less prone to manipulation.
