Protection Against the Unexpected.

On 6 February 2026, HEI Chairman Mr. Mahendra Krishna Shrestha shared his insights with the Nepal Economic Forum (NEF) on Nepal’s evolving risk landscape and the growing role of insurance in building resilience.

Drawing on those insights, NEF has now featured his perspectives in its article published on 15 September 2026, highlighting the need for insurance to go beyond compensation and play a greater role in prevention, adaptation and long-term resilience.
