Mardi Himal Trek (Pokhara and Kathmandu Sightseeing)
Mardi Himal Trek, located in Annapurna region of Nepal is one of highly rated and beautiful trek for those who like views of beautiful big mountains. Mardi Base camp is located at 4500m above sea level. It consists beautiful view of Mount Macchapucchre (Mt. Fishtail), Annapurna range and Himchuli. These skyscrapers are above more than 8000m. The trekking itself is great adventure, starting from huge forest region from Pitam Deurali to Forest camp, the big never ending forest makes your heart pounding with every step you take. Hard and steepy step towards Badal dada is very tough but as you reach the top, one feels like he is in heaven as great Macchapucchre is standing just infront of him and clouds flowing so close to the hill you climbed that you literally feel like you are above clouds. The night at High Camp (3700m) is very cold, but warm while you stay at fireside listening to great and adventurous stories of Owner of lodge.
Waking up at 4 Am just to look Annapurna and Macchapucchre just above our heads is a sight that can tear any stone hearted person. The hike to Mardi view point from high camp is extremely hard but as sun rises in between the Fishtail, everything stops for that moment.
I visited mardi few months back with my close friends, which made our friendship more better and got us closer. I made story of a lifetime by visiting this heaven of a place. It is time for all of us adventure loving people to visit this amazing place and make a meaningful story that we tell people till we live.
