घरजग्गा कारोबार इजाजतपत्र : आवेदन खुल्यो, २१ दिनको समय

भूमि व्यवस्थापन तथा अभिलेख विभागले साउन २१ गते सार्वजनिक सूचना जारी गर्दै महानगरपालिका र उपमहानगरपालिका क्षेत्रमा एक पटकमा ३ करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा बढीको घरजग्गा कारोबार गर्न चाहने फर्म, कम्पनी तथा संस्थालाई इजाजतपत्रका लागि २१ दिनभित्र अनलाइन आवेदन दिन आग्रह गरेको छ।

दस्तुर : ५ करोडसम्मको कारोबारका लागि रु. ५ लाख, जतिसुकै रकमको कारोबारका लागि रु. १० लाख। इजाजतपत्रको अवधि ५ वर्ष।

Who this affects: any firm, company or institution facilitating, advising on or brokering house and land transactions above the threshold. The obligation is not limited to registered brokers — the law captures anyone providing the service commercially, with or without a fee.

Operating without a licence carries a fine of up to NPR 25 lakh, imprisonment of up to six months, or both.

Called the Company Registrar's new AI helpline today — and it actually worked.

The Office of the Company Registrar (कम्पनी रजिस्ट्रारको कार्यालय) has quietly launched an AI-based call centre on 9700004414, running 24 hours a day.

I tried it today with a routine query, and it handled it cleanly — service procedures, the documents required, and even staff extension numbers, without the usual wait for someone to pick up during peak hours.

For those of us who work with company registration and post-registration compliance every day, this matters more than it might sound.

Nepal's public sector doesn't always get credit when it moves early on something. This is a genuinely practical use of AI — not a pilot for a press release, but a service that reduces friction for real service seekers from day one.
