🚨 New Government Rule: Cash Transaction Limit Reduced to below Rs. 5 Lakh

From Magh 1, 2082, the Government of Nepal has enforced a new rule requiring all financial transactions Rs. 5 lakh or above to be conducted only through banking channels. Cash payments beyond this limit will no longer be allowed.

*Annual Labour Audit Submission Mandatory!*

As per the Labour Act, 2074 and Labour Rules, 2075 of Nepal, every organization must submit its Annual Labour Audit (श्रम अडिट) in the prescribed format Schedule 10 (Form 10) by the end of Poush every fiscal year.

🗓 Deadline: End of Poush (Mid-January)
📄 Submission Format: Schedule-10 (Labour Audit Form)
🌐 Submission Method: Through the ILMIS system or via the respective Labour and Employment Office’s email
💸 Penalty for Non-Compliance: NPR 20,000 under Section 163(2)(b) of the Labour Act, 2074

This requirement applies to all businesses employing any number of workers, and is aimed at improving legal compliance and promoting better labour practices in Nepal.
