By collecting the scattering capital of the residents of Madhyapur Thimi area who have no knowledge about banking transactions, this co-operative organization has been emerged by 28 active members with the main aim of “raising the feelings of co-operative for socio-economic and cultural development of local people. ECONOMIC POLICIES ADOPTED
1) To increase interest rate according to time relativity.
2) Sufficient liquidity management.
3) Providing Loan facility to the share holder members by changing credit policy according to time relativity.
4) Having not flow of loan without mortgage and personal guarantee.
5) 1% for good credit amount and according to co-operative directory there is 25% to 100% credit loss management for outdated loan.
6) There is sufficient management for bad debts.
7) Having no transaction with the members out of its working area.
8) With the provision of collecting and paying interest of organization, 365 days is considered a year.
9) While collecting interest on loan from the day of taking loan up to the previous day of paying loan is counted.
10) 1.5% penalty is being charged to those who do not pay the principal and interest on given time.
11) While giving interest in deposit of personal account 5% pre-tax TDS is being collected in the account of internal revenue office Bhaktapur.
12) There is a facility of renewing the period of loan to the member whose term of paying loan is completed. On the basis of the satisfactory transactions made by one. ECONOMIC GLIMPSE
