Wrapping up our team introductions, meet our Tech Lead, Ronny-André Steinslett! With a passion for technology and innovation, Ronny was drawn to Kiip by the cutting-edge technology and the exciting stage of our company. He finds it incredibly rewarding to build something from the ground up with such high potential.

Since joining Kiip, Ronny has been instrumental in accelerating our product development. His extensive startup experience has prepared him for this role, teaching him the importance of situational awareness and adaptability. Taking on multiple roles requires continuous learning and the ability to adjust to new needs, a challenge Ronny embraces.

Outside of work, Ronny enjoys spending time with his family, working on home improvement projects and staying active. His active lifestyle keeps him energized and ready for new challenges, allowing him to bring his best to Kiip every day while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Continuing our team introductions, meet our CMO and CFO, Maren Sognefest! Driven by a passion for cost-effective solutions and a dream of building something impactful, she co-founded Kiip with her brother Asgeir. As an economist, Maren bridges the gap between complex technical concepts and user-friendly solutions, ensuring that Kiip not only meets but exceeds customer expectations.

Maren’s vision for Kiip is ambitious; to revolutionize the way payments are made, making them cheaper and more user-friendly by reducing intermediaries, and providing better financial services to underbanked regions.

Away from her professional duties, Maren enjoys knitting, jogging and quality time with her family. This versatility is mirrored in her professional life, where she balances multiple roles and responsibilities.

Over the next few weeks, we will introduce our team, starting with our CEO! Asgeir is a visionary leader with a master’s degree in software development, specialized in AI, and over 11 years of experience in building innovative financial products.

Asgeir co-founded dOrg, a decentralized autonomous organization that has been making significant strides since 2018. dOrg has served clients such as the Ethereum Foundation, eToro, Gnosis, Compound Finance and Amnesty International.

When he’s not transforming the payments industry, you might find Asgeir running through mountain trails or enjoying quality time with his wife and three kids. His passion for the outdoors mirrors his approach to business; always looking for new heights to scale and challenges to overcome.

Her trengs det endring.
