We are thrilled to announce that The Waste Transformers has secured a €5 million investment from Invest International. This funding will fuel our international expansion and technology development. This funding is in addition to the €5 million already secured with Green Tower, bringing the fundraiser to €10 million in total.

Our on-site Waste Transformer biodigesters convert food waste into clean energy and natural fertilizers, contributing to reduced emissions and enhanced soil quality. Invest International, a Dutch government-backed impact investor, recognizes the potential of our sustainable on-site food waste solution. This partnership signifies their dedication to supporting innovative global initiatives.

The Green Tower is a redeveloped prison tower in Amsterdam. They are working hard to turn this former prison Bijlmer Bajes in one of the most innovative neighbourhoods of Amsterdam called Bajes Kwartier. Our Waste Transformer will be based in this tower, to turn the neighborhoods food waste into renewable energy and a liquid natural fertilizer to grow healthy greens.

The coolest band in the world, Coldplay is also the FIRST music band in the world to use our Waste Transformer!!! The band’s commitment to being low-carbon and eco-friendly led them to choose the pioneering as the venue for their World Tour.
The Arena posted this video about their pioneering green technologies - including The Waste Transformers - and Coldplay gave it a fat thumbs-up reposting it to their 24 million followers. Chris Martin, you just lit up our day!

We have installed two brand-new Waste Transformers this week, marking another significant milestone in our mission to revolutionize food waste management around the world.

One of them is a game-changer for a prominent waste management company, enabling them to efficiently valorize food waste collected from households and businesses. With our technology, they can now transform this food waste into valuable resources, ensuring a more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach.

We're proud to share that our other placement involves our very first biodigester site for the United Nations. This signifies a major step forward in combating food waste and promoting sustainable practices on a global scale. By using the on-site power generated by our Waste Transformers, our clients are turning their own food waste into tangible value while contributing to a greener environment.

The award-winning company, The Waste Transformers, has appointed Niels de Greef in the new role of Director of Operations. Due to the rapid growth of the company, the company is investing in upscaling its maintenance and operations organization.

We are thrilled to finally share the exciting news that The Waste The Waste Transformers have joined forces with UEFA! Together, we are exploring ways to help football stadiums close the loop and turn their organic waste, such as food waste into a positive change, inspiring and showing supporters around the world how to treat food waste in a renewable way on-site.

Working with the great team at UEFA's Innovation Hub has been a truly inspiring experience. Our goal is to empower sports venues to harness renewable energy from their food waste and power their events sustainably. We do this by converting on-site produced food waste into nutrient-rich natural fertilizer, replacing synthetic alternatives and ensuring that the pitch is always UEFA-ready.

Gas prices are rising in Europe. Did you know that transforming food waste in an anaerobic digester, produces biogas? Companies who produce non-preventable food waste, actually have a solution to their rising gas bills. Joyce Beuken from Warmte365 wrote this Dutch article about us.

This morning our Sales Director, Martin welcomed Natalia Herrera and Susanna Cocchini from BV Colombia and Elham Mohammed from Foundation Ethiopia to our Waste Transformer in Haarlem.

Food waste ending up in landfill remains one of the biggest drivers of CO2 and methane emissions causing global warming. Diverting food waste from landfill is becoming a priority in more countries now as awareness and knowledge of these emissions grow.
