Ons eigen Nederland is voor veel projecten een proeftuin. Denk hierbij aan de eeuwenlange kustbescherming (dijken/duinen/etc.) maar ook de Afsluitdijk en de Deltawerken en de in aanbouw zijnde Maasvlakte 2. Waterbouw zit ons in de genen en we hebben van jongs af aan met zand gespeeld.
