We're reaching out to share an important update about partner in sustainable development projects Vicky’s Keys and urgently ask for your support.
After the devastation of Hurricane Irma in September 2017, the Sint Maarten Recovery, Reconstruction, and Resilience Trust Fund was created to help repair the damage to homes and businesses. Managed by the National Recovery Program Bureau (NRPB), this fund was supposed to support local recovery efforts.
They applied for funds to repair Vicky’s Keys, their beloved home, volunteer center, and (kitchen) gardens. Despite their hopes, they received the crushing news that Vicky’s Keys is not eligible for funding. This decision was a huge setback for all of us believed this fund was meant to assist Sint Maarten residents and business owners.
So…. we’re not giving up! We are determined to help rebuild Vicky’s Keys in Sint Maarten so that together we can continue our vital and sustainable development work. To do this, we urgently need your help.
They have launched a crowdfunding campaign: **"Help Vicky’s Keys Rise Again! Reopen Our Volunteer Center in Sint Maarten."**
