Just added the handwoven linen tablecloths to our webshop.

The Lubeck tablecloth and Wismar towel are now available with blue, green, and red stripes. A new shipment from one of our partner weaving mills is arriving on Monday.

The name usually given in English to textiles like these is 'Perugia towels', deriving from tovaglie perugine. Tovaglia is usually translated as tablecloth, and tovagliolo as napkin, but their use was in both ecclesiastical and secular contexts.

Last week we posted a picture of our newly acquired coin dies. As we want to mint nice 14,15 and 16th century coins.

The first dies we acquired and which where on picture are;

- "Vuurrijzer" 2 Stuivers coin - Mary of Burgundy - Netherlands - end of the15th century
- Jean III from Bavaria "écu d'or" - 15th century
- "Engrogne" coin - Charles the Bold - end of the 15th century
- Burgundian Florin - Charles the Bold - end of the 15th century
- Dubbele Groot coin - Charles the Bold - end of the 15th century

We will get more but as dies are not cheap it is something that has to grow.

From several of you we got the comment that they want to have dies like these for their own. This was a little unexpected for us but we understand the need.

So we decided to make them available for you.

The dies are made of hardend 60-64 HRC steel and consist of 1 piece of 10 cm and 1 piece of 8 cm. The dimeter depends on the type of coin.

In the future we think to expand the range with the following coins.

- Charles V coin - 16th century
- Spanish escudo - Kingdom of Spain - 16th century
- Matthias I Corvinus Forint - 15th century
- Edward III penny - 14th century
- Jean III from Bavaria "écu d'or" - 15th century
- Sigismund Florin - Holly Roman Empire- 14th century
- Florin - Arnould de Hornes - 14th century

The pricing part is something we still working on.
If we have it ready we will ad them to our web-shop so you can order them.

Some new lavabo arrived today. A really nice big one with lots of details and a smaller one which needs some love and care as a handle is missing but could be replaced with a wrought iron one.

A first test batch of handwoven linnen tablecloths. They are 90x180 cm and around 400 gr. Very happy about them
