We are excited to announce that Lieke van der Plas will be joining us as the speaker during the Ladies Event!
During her personal keynote, Lieke will take you along on her entrepreneurial journey. At just 22 years old, she started as a young entrepreneur with big dreams. Since then, she has grown into leading a developing company with staff, financial responsibilities, and important decisions to make. Lieke will speak openly about the period in which she partly sold her own company and later bought it back. This decision came with doubt, pressure, expectations, and the challenge of finding her own direction again. Through recognisable stories, humour, and honest insights, she will show how important it is to stay true to yourself in a competitive environment. Her session will focus on resilience, courage, and personal leadership. You will learn how to stay strong under pressure, why visibility starts with daring to show yourself, and how success and uncertainty often go hand in hand.
Besides the keynote, female employees from JBR, Clairfield, KPMG, and EY will be present to share their experiences and discuss what it is like to be a woman in the finance and accountancy sector. There will also be plenty of opportunity to network in an inspiring yet informal setting.
