"Old Ships. New Purpose."
We took a 40-year-old ship. And gave it a brand new life in Africa.
Most people would have scrapped her.
I saw something different.
She was sitting in a European port. Outdated for Western trade routes.
Too expensive to upgrade for EU operations and regulations.
Destined for the breakers.
But for a river operator in Africa?
She was perfect.
✅ Shallow draft — ideal for river navigation
✅ Simple diesel engines — easy to maintain with local skills
✅ Large cargo hold — exactly what the route needed
✅ Priced right — within the operator's budget
We negotiated the purchase.
Arranged the survey.
Coordinated transport through 3 countries.
Supervised reassembly on the riverbank.
Today she carries cargo that feeds communities.
Every single week.
A "worthless" ship in Europe.
A lifeline in Africa.
This is why I do what I do.
