Five Key Takeaways from Davos 2026

Davos 2026 made one thing clear: housing is evolving from a product into a fully integrated ecosystem. Affordability is no longer measured only by price per square meter, but by the total cost of living within sustainable, connected communities.

Ownership models are being reshaped through blockchain and fractionalization, unlocking liquidity and democratizing access to real estate investment. At the same time, volumetric modular construction is emerging as the fundamental path to scale, speed, quality, and decarbonization. The future home is manufactured with precision.

Buildings are also becoming “phygital” assets, where IoT, AI, and digital twins transform static structures into intelligent, responsive platforms that generate long-term value.
