Did you receive a letter from the Belastingdienst this week? That means it’s time to prepare your income tax return for 2024! 📝💰

🔹 Deadline: 1 May 2025 (for individuals)
🔹 Extended deadline: 1 May 2026 (if we file your tax return as a bookkeeping office)
🔹 Who needs to file? If you received a letter, you are required to submit your tax return. Even if you didn’t receive the letter, it might still be beneficial!

The deadline for your Q4 2024 VAT return is fast approaching. Have you already submitted it? If not, don’t wait too long—time is running out! ⏳

💡 Pro tip: Once your Q4 VAT return is submitted, you can finalize your bookkeeping for the entire year. This means you’ll be fully ready to close 2024. 🎉

📌 Not there yet? Don’t stress! You can always file a supplementary VAT return for any corrections or missed entries from 2024.

Did you receive a letter with your provisional assessment 2025? Here’s why! 🤔

💡 The Belastingdienst sends this to prevent surprises after your 2025 tax return. It’s based on your 2023 income.

👉 What to do?
1️⃣ Check the details – are your income & deductions correct?
2️⃣ Pay the amount – in 1 go or 11 installments (first by March 1, 2025).
3️⃣ Not correct? Update it in Mijn Belastingdienst.
