Finca la Fortaleza is a Pig Farm. One of the first things any visitor will notice is that the pigs have tails. Althought this is perfectly normal, in most farms tails are cut. Not on the La Fortaleza farm! Why not? To answer this question we need to know why tails are cut, this is because aggressive pigs bite each other and can bite the tails of other pigs. Why do pigs get aggressive? There are two reasons: a too small living space and also feed can cause aggressiveness. Too much Soy is poisonous and that can cause aggressive behavior (also for humans too much Soy is not healthy).
