A TRUE LIFE STORY

I am Nancy by name, a 24 yr old student of Unilorin. This happened in August 2014. There was this fateful day I was hurrying for a lectures scheduled by 2pm, and I was wearing my favorite color WHITE. White Top on white Jean trousers with my red handbag and my red canvas as well, rushing to meet up as I was already running late. Lo and behold this Grey colour Mercedes Benz ran passed me with speed and splashed the dirty water on my clothes thereby staining my clothes instantly, with the merciless driver not even stopping to see what he had done and I stood there speechless for more than 15 minutes not knowing what to do, whether to head for my lectures on dirty and wet clothes or to take a taxi back home and changed the clothes, after much thoughts I decided to go back home and change the clothes not considering what the outcome of the whole matter will be. But one thing I observed was that me that is Parrot, I couldn't utter a word, I tried to open my mouth and abuse and curse the driver but my inner mind didn't allow me do so. I quietly turned back and changed the clothes and continued my journey. While all these were going on, I didn't know that the driver just packed somewhere and was watching me without my noticed as he said he was shocked I didn't say something (bad words). And honestly speaking I don't know the driver because I couldn't recognize his face then as he hurriedly sped away. (Many Years passed).
Fast forwarded to March 2023 I got married to my hearthrob, the apple of my eyes and we wedded. After our wedding, my hubby went inside the room and brought out a big box (briefcase) and gave me as my first gift after marriage. On opening the box, I saw Bundles of white Jean trousers, white tops, red canvasses(3) and 5 red handbags, I was so shocked as I asked my hubby what that could exactly mean, he said he knows WHITE is my favorite color and he is trying to replace those ones his car damaged back then in 2014,
