Today, a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, dismissed the suit filed by Iwok and others against the Peoples Democratic Party over the conduct of the state’s primary elections.

The plaintiffs, Friday Iwok and 31 others, had approached the court to ask for the nullification of the primary which they claim was conducted in violation of the PDP guidelines.

But Justice Obiora Egwuatu while delivering the ruling of the court on the matter dismissed the suit in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party, insisting that the plaintiffs failed to show sufficient evidence that the PDP disenfranchised any of its members in the conduct of the Congress.
