In today's Latest Npower News For Friday 21th July 2022, we will be updating you on what is going on with Npower and Nexit program. So read on!

The Npower management has commenced the payment of batch C stream 1 beneficiaries May stipend payment. Unlike the April payment with so many failed payment which we believe has been fixed, the May stipends payment is going on smoothly without complaints of failed payment from the Beneficiaries.

The Npower batch C stream 2 posting will soon commence, beneficiaries waiting for their posting to their PPA should ensure that they keep their Nasims self-service login details safe and also stay updated via the portal for changes.

On the other side, the onboarding of Independent Monitors is being conducted across the 36 States including the FCT and the Minister has warned the Independent Monitors against sharp practices.

The NSIP independent monitors are responsible for surviving the NSIP program on behalf of the Ministry.

Today, the Npower Discussion Group will be talking about the question that most of the Npower batch C1 volunteers have been asking which is the Npower Batch C Stream 1 Termination Date. So let's get straight to the point.

If you could recall that before the commencement of the Npower batch C program, Npower management clearly stated that the Npower 2020 programme will last for only 12 months.

However, the Npower batch C stream 1 was flag-off by August 2022 and beneficiaries commenced duties by September 2021. In accordance with this, the batch C1 programme is supposed to be terminated by September 2022. This notwithstanding, Npower management has the final say regarding the exit date for the batch C stream 2 Npower beneficiaries. They may decide to extend the exiting date and they might not.

Currently, the Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiaries who recently concluded their physical verification are waiting for their posting.

So to remind the Npower batch C stream 1 asking to know when likely they will be disengaged, put it at the back of your mind that Npower Programme only lasts for 1 year. And only the Federal Government has the final say regarding the Npower Programme. Your disengagement may probably be in the month of August, September, or October.

How to Update Your Npower Nexit Portal Record Correctly
Sign up is the first step during the NEXIT Registration and not the only step. The Sign-up enables verification of your identities to ensure your are a Batch A or B Npower Beneficiary before granting you access to update your records on the portal to qualify you the opportunities to access CBN Empowerment options.

In order to keep your Nexit portal profile correctly updated, you must fill the update record section of the portal. To help fill that part correctly, we have decided to create this post to show you how to fill some of the questions asked in the update record form correctly.

Below are some of the questions and how to answer them :
1) Do you have a job after exiting from the N-Power Programme?
ANSWER: No

2) What type of job?
ANSWER: Self-employed

3) During the N-power programme, did you acquire a skill?
ANSWER: If you do say Yes, if not say No

4) Do you have an existing business?
ANSWER: No

5) Do you have any business idea you intend to start?
ANSWER: Yes

6) Do you desire to own a business venture?
ANSWER: Yes

7) Do you need a loan for your business venture?
ANSWER: Yes

8) Would you like to participate in a digital and e-commerce skills acquisition training programme?
ANSWER: Yes

The “Add any additional info” part is where you should sell yourself properly but keep it short. Tell them about the Category of Npower you were enrolled in and if you want to be transition in that part. If not leave it blank.
