How to send and receive crypto assets to a DeFi wallet using Binance Pay.

For those who couldn't make it to the meeting yesterday and those who came and because of the short time and network constraints couldn't get all the details.
I will be doing a day by day lesson on crypto and the benefit of learning and using it.

Let's start from the beginning...

What is crypto?
Crypto or cryptocurrency is a digital kind of currency that has value to the dollar because it us traded against the dollar.
This means the value of crypto is attached to the value of dollar, it can rise or fall against the dollar. It is traded by those who seek to take advantage of this movement also known as " *Volatility"*.
Crypto is also decentralized, meaning it is not controlled by any country's Central Bank.

For example in Nigeria, CBN controls the value of Naira and if they mess up, the value of Naira falls against other country's value...

To illustrate the meaning of value falling:

Ask yourself how much did you buy a loaf of bread 🍞 5 years back (2017)
How much is it today?(2022)

The answer is- it is about 3 to 5 times the worth the value 5 years back in time.

Crypto is an asset just like Gold and Silver.
You can buy it and you can sell it.
Just like gold and silver, the value can either increase over time or decrease over time.

For example back in 2015, the first crypto Bitcoin (1 BTC) was around $1000 then and dollar to naira was #350 per naira which will worth about #3.5million in our naira,

Today 1 BTC as at time of this post BTC is worth $24,000 that's over #16.8 million in our naira.

What do you think the price of 1 BTC will be in the next 5years- 2027?

Analyst claim it ill be worth $100,000.(316% increase)

🤔The funny question, I want to ask is what will it worth in our naira?

By then our naira to dollar may be #1,500 per dollar,🤣😂 or let's say just say it will be worth #1000 or even #700...

Please do the maths- check your android phone calculator and press
100,000 x 1500 = ?
100,000 x 1000 = ?
100,000 x 700 = ?

That means Amaka that bought $10 worth of BTC this morning at #6700. Her $10 bought 0.0004166 BTC.

If 1 BTC is worth #100,000, her 0.0004166BTC will be worth $41.66

Then in naira it will be worth maybe
41.66 x 1500?
OR
41.66 x 1000?
OR
41.66 x 700?

You see why you need to learn how to save your naira in dollars or take advantage of profiting from trading or getting involved with crypto?
