Over Protocol OBT Season 2
As Over Protocol moves towards its mainnet launch, the Over Wallet and Over Node tools will help bring more people into the community. By making it easier for people to become validators, Over Protocol hopes to build a network that is truly decentralized. This will help create a system that is not controlled by any one entity, giving users the freedom to choose how they want to interact with the network.
While Over Wallet and Over Node are just two tools in the Over Protocol ecosystem, they represent the core values of the project: accessibility, inclusivity, and decentralization. These values will be reflected in all future tools.
Over Beta Test (OBT2)
Over Protocol is proud to announce the launch of its second Over Beta Test (OBT 2) on March 13, 2024, at 05:00 AM UTC. This is an exciting opportunity for the community to explore the network's latest features and provide feedback on its performance. OBT 2 is expected to last more than a month, giving users plenty of time to test and explore the network.
During OBT 2, users will have access to the following features:
- Over Wallet, a non-custodial wallet with a user-friendly interface which allows users to stake their Over Coin in a process know as Palm-Staking
- OverNode, a software client that allows users to run the Over network on their Personal Computers a process know as Home-Staking.
With the launch of OBT 2, Over Protocol is entering a new and exciting phase of its development. The team is committed to creating a user-centric network that is secure, scalable, and efficient. To achieve this, they are working tirelessly to develop new technologies and features that will make the network even more powerful and user-friendly.
Users who participate in the OBT season 2 as validators will be rewarded with higher reward than those using just the Over Wallet.
