A lot of people are afraid to invest, many people do not want to invest in REAL ESTATE for fear of fraud or perhaps buying of communal lands what the Igbos refer to as "Ala Umunna".
But over and over again, we've often come to the realization of that simple truth that lands are the only assets that do not depreciate, it has been proven that the value of land has continued to appreciate with time and people who overcome their fears and invest in legit real estate companies have always had huge cashout.
I have seen and witnessed many people who refused to invest and later ended in regrets and a larger number who invested and gained huge returns on their investment. I shall be telling stories of these two groups one after another but for now lets begin with the first group.
My father once wanted to buy a land, he was afraid of losing his money and most especially considering that location of the land and the poor development of that area. He was procrastinating due to fear and guess what, the price kept going up and after 2 years the area was much more developed than it was earlier, then my dad decided to buy.
Imagine that a property that was earlier sold for #500,000 was then sold for #1.5m after just 2years, he was only able to buy two plot at , the amount that would have bought 6plots of land if he invested earlier but that not withstanding that land is now sold for as am writing this.
Lessons
1. Learn to invest
2. Invest into the right company
3. Don't wait to be begged before you begin to invest
4. Our economy have always made us know that our money is valueless and the only way to stay alive and at afloat is to invest.
