*CONTENT CREATION OR CONTENT JOURNEY, WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT?*

In digital marketing, you take your audience from a certain point called A through to the destined point called Z where sales is likely, make sure you don't just create content but also create a content journey.

Content creation is strategic and the end is to make sales.

If your content journey is bad, sales is unlikely.

You can attract or fascinate your audience via your content and make no sales. But if you map out your content journey, you will not only attract them but also convert them.

I got a pm this afternoon and I felt like sharing this knowledge to the public.

So, How do I create Content Sir?

Content creation is easy, content is everywhere. But first find out, what you want to achieve with your content. Your what is your why, if you know what you want to achieve that's why you need to create content.

Back to our question, how do you create content?

Content is written, visual or video forms.

* Find help. Almighty Google is your first helper..
* Find inspiration from things around you.

So, How do I make my content unique?

* Make it authentic. If your content is not authentic, you won't create a unique content. What's a unique content? A content that has the same voice every time it's read.

* Pick it from a good perspective. The perspective you pick your content from tells a lot. It could be story telling, local way etc..

* Make it good. What's a good content? A content that's helpful, encouraging, and enlightening. Go the extra mile to provide value.

So, how do I not get stucked with creative ideas in content creation?

How to grow your business with Google's products - pt. 2

Google has developed different tools you can use to Grow your business. I mentioned some in the first part of this article, you can read it here, https://www.facebook.com/110886220431716/posts/128796431974028/
I made it known that you can appear on Google search even without having a website, you can also have a business e-mail like ([email protected]), you can get feedback, build mailing list using Google forms, and you can upload video contents and learn on the go with YouTube, ensure you read the first part if this article.

In this article, I will talk about other important Google products your business need.

* Blogger. Businesses no longer build a website and sit back, since the inception of content marketing, the phrase content is king has pushed most businesses who own a website to have a blog where they can share relevant and timely info so as to generate leads and rank on Google. With blogger, you can build a blog for your business where you share high-quality content to the end that you may generate leads and build audience. It's easy and free to use with a sub-domain like (kalifa.blogspot.com) and you can go premium to have a custom domain like (kalifa.com)

* Google translate. Google will not charge you for a content you translate to your language except a content you plagiarise in your language. So if you want the best content, you can search in another language, Google will rank the best so when you translate and use it on your blog, it has the possibility to help your blog rank on Google's front page.

* Google Analytics. For those who do not have a website and want to make use of Google My Business which I explained that it works like a website, analytics tool is already embedded in it so you can measure your GMB page performance. But for those who own a website you can install Google Analytics on your website.

* Google AdWords. This is now called Google Ads, with this you can market your website on search engine. Google will rank you on the front page for paying them.

How to grow your small business using Google's products

Google Search which is the largest search engine among others such as baidu, bing and soso has developed several products after that can help even small business owners grow their business on a global scale. The use of some of this products are not for free not until the emergence of Google in the industry. Here are some Google's products you must know to grow your business online.

* G-mail. Gmail has taken grounds among other email apps. It provides a large memory space to store files. Also there is a feature you can use that you will have an e-mail address in your business name without having to own a website, e.g [email protected] or [email protected]. Normally, it's only those who has a business website that can use this feature but Google has made it available on Gmail, the free version last for 14 days and you can pay 5k to use this feature yearly. If you calculate the cost of building a website before you get this email, you will agree with me that 5k is indeed cheap for a year to make your business appear professional.

* Google My business. Some call this website design using Google. It's not really a website but it's called a website because it has all pages you need on a website like the home, services, about us and contact us. You can list your business on Google My business, the benefit of this is that when something related to your business is searched for, Google will display your business page which will appear like a website hosting important details about your business. It's free and easy to use. You can go to your Google play store to download this app.

* Google Forms. With Google forms, you can get a free landing page with automatic responder(auto responder) to your subscribers without having to pay a provider for a landing page. You can use it alone and you can attach it with your WordPress website. Also, with Google forms, you can create a survey, get customer's feedback, and for event registration form where you provide questions and put a box where answers can be provided.

* Google Drive. You can make use of Google Drive to save important business files in order to retrieve it when your laptop or mobile device get corrupted. It provides a memory capacity up to 16 GB for free, you can download it from play store.

* YouTube. If you're after business growth and development, don't be far from this app. You can upload tutorial videos about what you do, supposing you're a hairstist, you can upload videos on how to for free and you can Alps make money from it if you have more than 400 views on your videos. Also, you can use it to learn several things about your business. YouTube is called the new university. In a video I was watching recently on YouTube, it was listed among three applications that are important than a university degree.

4 Simple steps to increase engagement on your Facebook Post

Engagement is when a reader or follower like, share and comment on your post. A post that has no engagement could not be relevant or catchy. Everyone wants their post to be engaged with, they want to see a high number of like, share and comment but they don't understand the secret to increase engagement on Facebook...

As I will be sharing these secrets, ensure you share it with your friends if you have it helpful..

Step 1: Timing. This could be in terms of your post relevance or your followers presence. Ensure you post at the right time. I usually post contents when it's getting close to 12 if I'm posting in a group and that's because by the time the post will be approved in the group, it will be 3 pm when Facebook users will start being active.. That's mine. Also I write post that has relevance with the time we're in. I look for people's challenge in my niche and write content that will help them.. Ensure you post content at the right time.

Step 2: Write for your audience. Who are your audience his do they behave, write your content and weave it around their habits, language etc..Don't post content in a group where your audience are not, some people post in headstart Africa when their audience is not in headstart Africa. Find a group that's established for your niche and post in it. For instance, you run a confectionery business, join groups that deals with confectionery and post content that are helpful and useful. Make sure your content solves the problem of your audience, in that way they will like, share or comment.

Step 3: Use the Insight tool. I started to manage page for an NGO and what I did first was to use the insight tool to have an idea of when (day/time) people have been engaging with post in the page then I discovered it's on Sunday at 11 pm. I decided to post at that time on one Sunday and the content has the highest number of engagement. But other content posted on other days has little or no engagement. That way I was able to increase engagement on the page that was fallow.

Step 4: Be genuine. Whenever you write a post on Facebook, use your normal language and tone when speaking, don't try to be someone else or seem professional. It makes your audience to relate with you and that way you're branding your content such that whenever anyone read a post, they will identify the tone as yours..

**Why Facebook Sponsored Posts is guided by Ads policy**

Have you ever noticed that Facebook sponsored post is guided by policy which seems unfavorable? I guess yes.

And have you ever tried to ask why?

In this article, I will tell you reasons Facebook sponsored post is guided by Facebook policy.

To start with, the policy that all sponsored post must be placed as a normal post is due to the fact that when marketing your product on social media don't tag it with the "come and buy" idea, that's one of the strategies in content marketing. Your content shouldn't be seen a product you want people to buy, but as a free idea you want them to share from. Facebook is a social networking site not a marketing site, the essence is to network with friends of like minds, share ideas as that's why it operates on a B2C model. Don't come with the aim of selling that's why selling on social media takes time because you first attempt is to build your connection and trust then they can buy from you. Facebook sponsored post is seen as a normal post so that you won't think it's a marketing site. Nobody wants to hear the word come and buy, they want to make buying decisions willingly that's why your content marketing strategy you must take out the word buy and share helpful ideas.

This is why whenever you run Ads on Facebook, you need a better creative and a professional copy that will make people make the decision to buy from you.

Next, the policy that your Ad creative mustn't carry the word money or come and buy is due to that fact that nobody wants to hear the word "come and buy", they want to make their buying decision all alone. So it's a strategy to make it appear like your normal creative but to indirectly not directly influence people to buy. Like I said earlier, it's a social networking site. So you should design a creative that has no much words..

My advice for you..

Don't use social networking sites with the primary aim to sell but to build influence through content, create trust and build your connection..

Don't write content to sell but to share ideas, and incorporate what you have to sell in a way that nobody thinks you're selling but that you're giving..

Don't write anyhow Ad copy, rather outsource that to a professional copywriter..
